Carnage Scenario Spoilers:

These spoilers recap what we’ve seen across three YouTube channels: MCM, Winning Hand, and Critical Encounters. This year, the team has designed an entirely new scenario for the Con of Heroes epic multiplayer custom event. You’ll be fighting against Carnage as he attempts to ascend to Godhood. Carnage 1B is the multiverse version of this villain you’ll fight in the first phase of this epic scenario. We designed him as a repeatable villain you’ll want to defeat many times.

He’ll begin in play along with a few other cards – the environment “Here to Slay” and the side scheme “Along Came A Spider”. The main scheme will instruct you on how to set up your encounter for single table or epic multiplayer (multiple table modes), and you’ll want to make sure you use the correct versions of each card (A or B).

Along Came a Spider is a repeatable side scheme that will let the multiverse gain Web Warrior tokens, allowing players to summon Web Warrior allies from across the multiverse in the second phase of the encounter. If you want more details about the encounter second phase and how Carnage and the players get upgrades in Phase II check out MCM and Critical Encounters.

But when you attend the con, the fan-made custom pack includes not only this scenario, but extra goodies as well.

Players will enjoy this 72-card pack including:

  • A 26-card Carnage Scenario
  • 6-card Cultist of Carnage modular set
  • 2-card Children of Carnage modular set
  • 12-card new Symbiote Standard
  • A 3-card campaign series
  • 4 challenge cards
  • And a 12-card SHIELD-themed High Flying modular set!

Let’s quickly look at the High Flying set. Both the Standard set (spoiled on the Winning Hand YouTube channel) and this set include unique setup cards for players to build their deck around. The S.H.I.E.L.D. themed set gives each player access to a S.H.I.E.L.D. Jetpack, which provides every character with access to the Aerial trait.

Don’t worry; characters that already have it also gain a bonus! If you’ve ever wanted to play a Drax with a very high vertical knife leap – or Ms. Marvel flying in the sky, now is your chance! With many other goodies in store for the con, I hope you’ve enjoyed this year’s con spoiler season, and I can’t wait to see you all there!

Best Regards!
